BDO is an important basic organic and fine chemical raw material, with a wide range of applications. It can derive various high value-added fine chemical products, such as tetrahydrofuran (THF), N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP), polybutylene terephthalate (PBAT), etc. It can be widely used in fields such as spandex, biodegradable materials, polyurethane, and new energy batteries. Against the backdrop of "dual carbon" and "plastic restrictions", emerging fields such as biodegradable materials, new energy vehicles, and thermoplastic elastomers are expected to lead the new development of low-
chemical industry. BDO, as an important basic chemical raw material for industries such as biodegradable materials, new energy vehicles, and thermoplastic elastomers, will contribute to the development of low-carbon chemical industries and the achievement of the "dual carbon" goals.
