PVP K30 is also called polyvinylpyrrolidone K30 or polyvidone K30. It is a macromolecule polymer made from N-VinyPyrrolidone (NVP) through polymerization.
PVP K30 Powder has a hygroscopic nature with good adhesive properties, and it has stable PH value and has the ability to form transparent films. It is widely used in food, cosmetics, technical industry and so on.

Function of Polyvinylpyrrolidone
PVP(Polyvinylpyrrolidone) is white or milky white to light yellow free-flowing powder or clear transparent viscous liquid, which is odorless or has slight characteristic odor. PVP is non-toxic, nonirritant and has moisture absorption.
Application of Polyvinylpyrrolidone
It is easy soluble in many organic solvents like water, alcohol, amine and halohydrocarbon; insoluble in acetone and diethyl ether. PVP has excellent solubility, biocompatibility, film-forming property, chemical stability, physiological inert,cohesiveness, membrane protection ability, complexing ability to many organic and inorganic compounds, good stability to acid, salt and heat and therefore has wide applications in many fields.
